After the USSR
In the autumn of 1945, Henry and his mother left the USSR. After travelling for two months, when they arrived in Łódź, they found nothing and no one. So they decided to leave Poland altogether and go to a displaced persons’ camp in Bamberg, Germany. Later Henry lived in Israel, Brazil, Canada, where he graduated in chemistry, and then the United States. Finally, he moved to Rome, where he has lived for forty years.
