La marche du monde - RFI : 10/10/2008 - Europe of the Gulag

Families from all over Europe were deported to the Gulag before, during and after the Second World War. This is the less well-known history of Soviet repression in Europe, long hidden by the Iron Curtain.
With Catherine Gousseff, Centre Marc Bloch (Berlin), Marc Élie (French-Russian centre for research in the humanities and social sciences, Moscow) and Marta Craveri (CERCEC).
Marta Craveri coordinates the Sound Archives of the Europe of the Gulag project, supported by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah.
